Cristina Coco Photography bio picture

Welcome!

Thanks for finding my photography journal!  My name is Cristina Coco and I am a portrait photographer in the Westchester and Fairfield County area.

I love what I do.  I love what I do so much I left a very cool, high paced, world-traveling job in fashion to photograph kids. I know, I know, I must be nuts, right?  Well I hope this blog will give you an insight into why I left what some might call a dream job to run after a bunch of munchkins with my camera.

You'll notice that a lot of my images capture those kiddies looking straight at me, straight through the lens.  That is the shot I aim for at every session I do.  I love that moment when everything else fades away and that child really sees me.  Only a kid can naturally look at you like that - most adults can seem posed or even look away in embarrassment.  A child can look straight through you and capturing that moment for parents - that look that they know so well? Well, that is why I love to do this so much.

So enjoy my little neck of the web - I hope that it helps you get to know me a little better and makes you comfortable about choosing me to capture your memories.

Apologies!

Well it’s been almost two weeks now, no babysitter.  I know, all you moms out there are whipping out your violins and are serenading me with a “poor Cristina” song…  but – it’s been a rough balance with a full time business and a toddler!  So a few things have had to sit on the...

March of Dimes and little old me… {Westchester Commercial Photographer}

Now isn’t this the coolest. You never know who reads your blog.  I’m lucky enough to have the fabulous Kimberly Haywood of the March of Dimes read mine.  She asked me to work with them on the Mother’s March mailer – it’s a package sent out to volunteers for the March of Dimes that asks...

Kids being kids… that means me too, you know. {Cristina Coco, child photographer Greenwich, family photographer Bedford}

Tracey and I went to high school together, and by the miracle known as Facebook, she emailed me asking for as session for her fantastic three children.  I love Facebook.  I know, kind of geeky of me, but it gets me in touch with so many people and it has been fantastic for me in...

Beach boys {Cristina Coco Photography, Greenwich, CT Child Photographer}

I am soooo behind on blogging.  That’s a good and a bad thing.  Good, because I’m really busy and that’s so exciting!  Bad, because my one of my favorite clients has to text me and say “any preview?” with a big smiley face.  She’s so right, I need to get on it!! So I’m about...
