Cristina Coco Photography bio picture

Welcome!

Thanks for finding my photography journal!  My name is Cristina Coco and I am a portrait photographer in the Westchester and Fairfield County area.

I love what I do.  I love what I do so much I left a very cool, high paced, world-traveling job in fashion to photograph kids. I know, I know, I must be nuts, right?  Well I hope this blog will give you an insight into why I left what some might call a dream job to run after a bunch of munchkins with my camera.

You'll notice that a lot of my images capture those kiddies looking straight at me, straight through the lens.  That is the shot I aim for at every session I do.  I love that moment when everything else fades away and that child really sees me.  Only a kid can naturally look at you like that - most adults can seem posed or even look away in embarrassment.  A child can look straight through you and capturing that moment for parents - that look that they know so well? Well, that is why I love to do this so much.

So enjoy my little neck of the web - I hope that it helps you get to know me a little better and makes you comfortable about choosing me to capture your memories.

March of Dimes and little old me… {Westchester Commercial Photographer}

Now isn’t this the coolest. You never know who reads your blog.  I’m lucky enough to have the fabulous Kimberly Haywood of the March of Dimes read mine.  She asked me to work with them on the Mother’s March mailer – it’s a package sent out to volunteers for the March of Dimes that asks...

Beach boys {Cristina Coco Photography, Greenwich, CT Child Photographer}

I am soooo behind on blogging.  That’s a good and a bad thing.  Good, because I’m really busy and that’s so exciting!  Bad, because my one of my favorite clients has to text me and say “any preview?” with a big smiley face.  She’s so right, I need to get on it!! So I’m about...

Pirates Who Love Marshmallows {Cristina Coco Westchester Family Photographer}

We had a really fun time at Oakland beach – it was a beautiful night for pirates to play on a boat and dock.  Well, that is until the rain started! We got in a few with the beautiful sun, but then the clouds rolled in and it got so dark!  Didn’t stop these two...

bello piccolo Angelo {Cristina Portale Coco, baby photographer westchester}

I loved this little session. Angelo just turned one and you all know how I feel about one year olds! That being said, we kind of had everything against us – we were limited to full sun hours because of Angelo’s nap schedule and we didn’t have a big open field to shoot in because...

Introducing Alessandra {Westchester Newborn Photographer Cristina Coco}

This little girl was so perfectly beautiful.  Perfect feet, perfect fingers, and the most perfect lips!  I could photograph her all day, sleeping perfectly.  Do you catch the theme here? Some preview images for her mom and dad who were kind enough to drive up to Bronxville from Manhattan. I love this cradle – it...
